Unfortunately we have some disappointing news. Despite having re-ordered new play tents with added safety features, and despite these also passing the necessary European safety standards, it has been brought to our attention that a small number of the new tents have had the same problem as the last ones – namely that sharp edges can become exposed in the frame.
If you have received a play tent, we ask that you take the tent away from children immediately and dispose of it safely.
As a replacement for the play tent prize, we are instead sending a £20 voucher for Toys R Us to all prize winners. Under the circumstances, we will not be replacing the play tents.
We would once again like to apologise to you and your child for the inconvenience and disappointment, but the safety of your child remains our prime concern. We would like to thank you for your understanding of this regrettable situation.
